Alex received his Bachelor’s Degree (Civil Engineering）from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China. He qualified as an Attorney-at-Law in 2006, and is currently pursuing a law degree from the China University of Political Science and Law, Beijing.

Alex worked for 4 years as a patent examiner in Patent Office of China State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO), and during this time had wide experience in searching and substantive examination of patents relating to civil, mechanical, electrical and chemical engineering. He was then with the Patent Re-examination Board of SIPO for 3 years, where he was appointed as a chair on a panel of, and participated in, numerous re-examination and invalidation cases, in which capacity he represented the Board in Court actions, in all of which he was successful.

Alex’s working languages are English and Chinese.
