Patent Engineer, Chemical / Life Sciences
Dr. Neil Fu earned a bachelor degree from the Northwest Sci-Tech University of Agriculture and Forestry, as well as a masters specializing in vegetation. He also received a Ph.D in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the same university in 2007.
Dr. Fu worked for 7 years as a ecturer at the Northwest Sci-Tech University of Agriculture and Forestry and thereafter for 3 years as a researcher at the Beijing Institute of Biotechnology, Academy of Military Medical Science. He also practised for 1 year as a patent assistant at a well-known patent firm in Beijing, where he focused on patent prosecution in the areas of biochemistry, molecular biology, botany, microbiology and organic chemistry. Dr. Fu now drafts and translates patent documents in the above fields.
Dr. Fu’s working languages are English and Chinese.
