Dr. Liu earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Medicine (cancer gene therapy – viruses with deletions in antiapoptotic genes as potential oncolytic agents) from Imperial College, United Kingdom, and his MD from National Yang Ming University, Taiwan.

Not only has he participated in several presentations, but has also had various articles published. Dr. Liu is a member of the American Society of Gene Therapy and the American Association for Cancer Research. He is an Ad hoc reviewer for the International Journal of Cancer.

His working languages are English and Chinese.
