Our firm Ella Cheong (Hong Kong, Beijing) specializes in identifying, registering, licensing and enforcing trade mark, design and patents rights as well as copyrights in Greater China consisting of mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau). We have a staff of around 45 but are growing rapidly in response to clients' needs in the region. Our team comprises trade mark lawyers, patent attorneys and technical experts with impeccable academic credentials and many years of experience representing international, regional and local corporations as well as governmental agencies in intellectual property matters. Ella Cheong is one of the pioneers in the field of intellectual property in Asia and, having built a stellar reputation with one of the oldest law firms in Hong Kong, was invited by the Singapore government to establish the leading intellectual property firm, Ella Cheong Spruson & Ferguson (Singapore, Malaysia). This firm, with a staff of 110, deals with all types of intellectual property rights in Southeast Asia, covering Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. We pride ourselves on providing prompt and commercially-sensible intellectual property solutions. Our mix of Eastern culture and language capability together with familiarity with Western business objectives and practices places us in a unique position to advise on and mange intellectual property assets and rights in Asia.
