New Professionals

We are most pleased to welcome the following professionals who joined us in recent months:-

			CHEN, JEFF PRC Patent Attorney (Bio-chem), with a Master’s degree in Biology Science from Tsinghua University, China, and has experience in dealing with patent matters.
			LIU, LILIAN PRC Trade Mark Attorney, with a Master’s degree in Law from the University of International Business & Economics, Beijing, and is experienced in handling a wide range of TM issues.
			SO, HERMAN Patent Engineer, with a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and a Master’s degree in Engineering from the University of Cambridge, UK, and had substantial working experience in several engineering firms through participating in on-site works and managing various projects.
			YIP, SAM US Patent Attorney, with Bachelor and Master of Applied Science degrees in Electrical Engineering University of Toronto and also Juris Doctorate degree (focusing on intellectual property law) from the University of San Francisco School of Law; and extensive experience as an engineer and patent practitioner working for a number of Silicon Valley companies on projects spanning across software, electronics, communications, and system control technologies.
			ZHU, PEGGY PRC Trade Mark Specialist, with a Bachelor’s degree in Law from University of International Business & Economics, Beijing, and has extensive experience in handling IP issues.

 

Exchange Program on IP Agencies from Guangzhou and Hong Kong on 11 June 2010

On 11 June 2010, our lawyer Jacqueline Chan participated in the exchange program headed by Mr. Zhu Wangchang, Deputy Director of Guangdong Intellectual Property Office of China, and Ms. Fanny Pang, Assistant Director of Intellectual Property of Hong Kong. We had fruitful discussions on various IP issues with delegates from Hong Kong and Guangdong.
