Biochemist Consultant
The project for her doctorate was structural and functional studies of a
transcription regulatory complex, and her skills were in PCR, molecular
cloning, mutagenesis, protein expression and purification, protein
chromatography, western blot, chemical and enzymatic synthesis and
purification of DNA, isothermal titration calorimetry and circular
dichroism. Her current interest is to understand how axons of nerve cells
are degenerated and to find out therapy for its regeneration after spinal
cord injury or other neurodegeneration diseases.
In addition to various publications, Dr. Chang held the posts of
Postdoctoral Fellow at the Children’s Hospital, Harvard University, and
Research Associate at Washington University, St. Louis.
Dr. Chang’s working languages are English and Chinese.
